General Production Worker Opportunity in Kenansville, NC

Job Summary

We seek hard-working and reliable production workers to join our growing operation. You will work in our Inspection department, managing incoming and outgoing orders in this role. Under the supervision of the warehouse manager, you will visually inspect textile liners and cloth to ensure the quality of the production. Will make any possible corrections and document all procedures. We prefer candidates who have some warehouse experience, but we are willing to train.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Set up the machine with the proper fabric
  • Pack and unpack the product
  • Use hand tools such as scanners, knives, and labeling guns to pack the product
  • Operate the knitting machines to form the vinyl textile for the sit-covers.
  • Able to pay attention to detail, and make sure that the fabric is in proper condition, no overlaps.
  • Cut off any extra product, off.
  • Standing for long periods of time, working in temps between 40 and 90 degrees.
  • Bend and stand for long periods of time, and carry products from 25-40 lbs during shift.
  • Little housekeeping, keeping the area clean and free of dirt, dust, and other particles that would get the fabric dirty.
  • Sort material according to size, type, style, color, or product code.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required
  • Solid work history that demonstrates reliability; warehouse work experience is a plus
  • Able to work on your feet for 8-hour shifts and lift 30 lbs. regularly
  • Basic computer skills for maintaining inventory logs and databases
  • Good communication skills
  • Submit to Drug Screen and Background Search

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.78 per hour

  • Monday to Friday
  • Night shift
  • Overtime
  • Weekend availability
