PALCO, A Western PA distributor of Kohler Power Systems is seeking an entry level - Maintenance Service Technician for Residential and Industrial generators throughout Western PA.
Responsibilities include:
* Must be 21 years of age for insurance purposes.
* Willing to train but must have strong mechanical background.
* Tools are not required for 90 days.
- Great customer service skills
- Must have a mechanical aptitude for oil and filter changes.
- Must be a self-starter and reliable.
- Great team player.
- Understand and have a working knowledge of automatic start and stop controls, safety shutdowns, switch gear, circuit breakers, and control panels preferred. *
- Independently and successful diagnose, repair, rebuild and maintain diesel and gas engines. *
- Performed work on generators and component parts in various environment and working conditions.
- Safely assemble and disassemble equipment and component parts according to the manufacturer's specifications.
- Accurately complete service reports and provided the details to complete work orders.
- Basic computer skills are required.

Typical shift is M-F 800am-500pm, but may require on call for nights and weekends.
