Job description

Looking for Certified Yoga Instructor to join our team for statewide events. Instructor would need to meet at our main ranch in Tehachapi (Kern County) California, and travel to event site which could be anywhere within California.

This is mainly for private event bookings which may be 1 - 2 per a month on average and come up on a week day or weekend, and may also change dates/times at the client's discretion. Public events are typically held Saturday mornings and are usually booked/scheduled months in advance.

The average event is 3 - 3.5 hrs drive from the ranch, with 1.5 hrs set-up, 1.5 hours event, 1 hr tear-down, and return drive back. Training pay is $15/hr then goes to $25/hr when candidate is able to work without owner supervision/guidance.

Additional compensation for the hour of yoga instruction taught by candidate is $100.

In addition to teaching yoga during the class, candidate will be responsible for setting up portable fencing (dog playpen style), seeing to the goats' care, food and water, setting up guest tables with marketing, merchandise, etc., facilitating participant waivers and check-in, greeting participants and answering their questions, along with offering exemplary customer service in an upbeat enthusiastic manner. After class, assisting participants with goat photos, sanitizing and putting away yoga mats, packing up fencing and materials, processing merchandise sales, loading goats and driving back to main ranch. Other tasks as assigned by ranch relating to the goat yoga.

*MUST be Certified as a yoga instructor and carry own insurance as an instructor.
