The Russian School of Mathematics is an award-winning, after-school math program for K-12 students. We help children of all levels build a solid math foundation and develop critical-thinking and problem-solving skills. With over 75 locations, we continue to expand our reach.
RSM is growing and hiring a Graphic Designer. The main priority is to support the day-to-day marketing needs within headquarters and across branches: maintaining, updating, and creating new marketing collateral. This includes postcards, print ads, digital ads, social media campaigns, etc.
Responsibilities
- Maintaining and updating marketing collateral
- Generate creative content
- Balance brand consistency with design innovation under the guidance of the sr. graphic designer
- Work as part of a team
- Produce designs under quick turn-around times
Skills
- Proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite (primarily Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design); open to learning new programs
- Experience with both print and digital design
- An understanding of responsive web design
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and detail-oriented
- Ability to absorb and apply constructive criticism from peers
- Takes initiative and is creative/innovative in solving problems
- Strong knowledge and use of typography and imagery
- Maintains a positive attitude under pressure
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Requirements

- Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or relevant field
- 1-3 years of experience
- A strong portfolio is required
