Richard Bland College (RBC) of William and Mary has an exciting opportunity for a part-time Grounds Worker. The primary function of this position is to assist the Facilities Management department by providing ongoing care of grounds and buildings. This position will work up to 29 hours per week (on average).

- Ensuring a well-maintained campus that includes, but not limited to: mowing of the grounds, pruning, planting, seeding, fertilizing, weeding and trimming.
- Operate manual and power equipment to include: blowers, grass trimmers, chainsaws, riding mowers and other related grounds equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- A Valid Drivers License.
- A High School diploma or GED.
- Basic computer skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Working knowledge of grounds keeping.
- Coursework related to grounds management is strongly preferred.
- Ability to perform work that requires medium to heavy physical effort.
Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, ability to move a variety of items from one place to another, to work and stand for long periods of time while performing assignments, and the ability to work in an outdoor environment.
