JOB DESCRIPTIONThe Somersworth School District is seeking a qualified candidate for the position of Groundskeeper. The Groundskeeper will take ownership of all athletic fields and the grounds of all schools within the Somersworth School District. Provide schools and facilities support; take leadership in the snow removal process. The Somersworth School District is located in the City of Somersworth in the seacoast region of New Hampshire.

The school district of approximately 1,400 students has four school buildings and a career technical education center.PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Maintain school grounds and athletic fields.Function in a general labor capacity, as needed.Develop a comprehensive plan to maintain fields and grounds; provide an exceptional playing surface for athletic teams. Over the winter months, assist department with snow removal and other projects.
