The Manhattan Club, New York City’s first Timeshare property is seeking a Guest Service Agent.
A residence-style Boutique Timeshare, the Manhattan Club provides endless possibilities for the enjoyment of its guests. The Manhattan Club introduces a unique experience; blending a vacation ownership retreat with a luxury suite hotel. Centrally located in midtown Manhattan, it is convenient to many of New York City’s extraordinary and exciting attractions, encouraging our Owners and Guests to experience the pace of the City by day and feel the pulse of the City by night.
On a daily basis, our friendly Guest Service Agents are expected to greet customers with a sincere welcome by using a positive speaking voice, perform all check in and check out procedures, disburse room keys, inform guests about hotel services and local attractions, listen and respond to guest requests with appropriate action. Answer telephone and direct calls appropriately, post charges, handle cash and credit card transactions in an efficient manner, listen and respond to guest complaints with professionalism, remain calm and alert during stressful, demanding situations.
Job Requirements:
- Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills, must be a team player
- Excellent oral, verbal, and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills, ability to multi-task and be detail-oriented
- Professional appearance and excellent attendance and punctuality
- 1+ years of Front Desk experience in a large hotel preferred
Physical Requirements
- Must be flexible and able to work AM/PM shifts including weekends and holidays.
- Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods of time (7 hours or more).
- Frequent bending and stretching is required. Ability to occasionally lift, carry, or push up to 15 lbs.
