Job description
Position Purpose: This position hand sorts and inserts a variety of client materials into various sized envelopes or into appropriate bins for pick- up and delivery to customers.
Essential Job Functions:
- Hand sorts materials accurately and inserts materials into appropriate bins for delivery or envelopes for mailing
- Matches materials (names, numbers, etc.) for inserting
- Sorts documents
- Sorts materials and insert into envelopes for jobs that are not suitable for machine sorting and insertion
- Hand addresses materials as required
- Assembles per order and prepares for shipment
- Completes all job tracking paperwork and/or input work data into appropriate systems timely and accurately
- Demonstrates high levels of safety awareness and notifies supervisor of potential hazards
- Follows the security and privacy policies, standards and guidelines in order to protect the informational assets of both the company and their customers
Marginal Job Functions:
- May be required to generate labels via data base system
- May weigh, label and log orders and apply postage and deliver to shipping area
- Maintains appropriate housekeeping in work area
- Performs other duties as assigned
Qualifications for Position:
- H.S. diploma or equivalent
- Ability to read, write and speak English
- Demonstrated ability to analyze, draw conclusions and create solutions to most complex problems
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written
