Job description
Responsible for the male and female gender by feather selection. Performing general duties to include: Bird Sweep, Belt Observer, Director, QC, etc. Assist in the cleaning of the processing area. Responsible for reporting any animal welfare issues. Always use correct PPE for individual job tasks. Weekend work as needed. Other tasks as assigned.
Cleanup of Incubators, Hatchers, Hatchery Rooms, and Equipment, to include walls, ceilings, floors, doors, fan grills, vents, plenums, drains and ducts. Operate high pressure water hose. Responsible for the proper handling and usage of chemicals and cleaning procedures. Sanitation Team Members must be able to formulate and mix cleaning chemicals in the proper proportions without supervision. Follow all OSHA safety regulations and procedures. Responsible for reporting any animal welfare issues. Always use correct PPE for individual job tasks. Weekend work rotation as needed. Wearing of respirator required. Other tasks as assigned
