Job description

Under general direction, assists in performing specific tasks and coordinating activities pertaining to the Hospital Quality Reporting Program (HQRP). Activities include, but are not limited to, provision of assistance and education to providers regarding the CMS HQRP requirements via the QR help line, live chat, and question & answer tool; developing training materials; reviewing and updating website content; providing technical assistance, presentations, deliverables, meeting agendas and minutes; and other tasks as assigned. Project deadlines may necessitate occasional extended work hours.

ESSENTIAL COMPETENCIES, DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides coverage for the QRP help line, on-line live chat feature and question & answer tool to assist customers with requisitions related to the QRP requirements.
  • Provides support to the Program’s Subject Matter Experts in developing tools, educational presentations, web-site content review and research.
  • Assists with Technical Assistance inquiries and responses.
  • Assists with development of educational tools and material for the provider community.
  • Assists in developing written reports and deliverable documents.
  • Identifies opportunities to improve project processes and suggest improvements.
  • Participates in stakeholder and team meetings, and produce agendas and minutes as needed.
  • Assist in identification of educational needs of the provider community.
  • Performs other tasks as assigned.
  • Participates in vendor on-site visits

Job Requirements:

EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare, or other related field, preferred.


OTHER QUALIFICATIONS

  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Minimum of one year project coordination experience.
  • Proficient with word processing, spreadsheet programs, and database programs (Microsoft Office).
