Prepares the patient, operating room, equipment, and instruments for surgery, maintaining aseptic techniques in accordance with nursing practice and standards of care.Focus: MUST HAVE experience with ORIF of hips, arms, legs, etc. (hemiarthroplasty), arthroscopies (knee, shoulders), total joints..MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Completion of a certified Surgical Technologist, Operating Room Technician or comparable training program;* Three (3) years experience as an OR Technician or Surgical Technologist in an acute care or outpatient setting. Association of Surgical Technologists Certification highly preferred.
