POSITION SUMMARY
The Newborn Hearing Screener performs hearing screens on newborn patients in the Mother/Baby Unit and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit prior to hospital discharge.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
Must work varied hours and schedules. Requires prolonged standing, walking, stooping and bending. May involve lifting or positioning of patients. Requires corrected vision and hearing to normal range. May be exposed to communicable diseases and bodily fluids. Requires ability to sustain concentration in a noisy and fast paced environment. May be exposed to violent or disturbed individuals
