Shift: 1st (12 hour shift)

Duties and Responsibilities:

This position consists of repairing and maintaining all recycling facility equipment (this includes heavy mobile equipment, conveyors, balers, shredders, etc,) installing new equipment, and performing preventive maintenance tasks.

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair heavy equipment and industrial recycling equipment to minimize downtime and make improvements.
• Perform repair work on systems including hydraulics, electronic/electrical systems, mechanical repairs, basic fabrication, preventive maintenance, and other tasks as assigned.
• Complete work orders and keep details notes of repairs performed.
• Identify necessary parts for repairs
• Use computers/internet to research and source part/equipment replacements
• Work in multiple positions, including but not limited to kneeling, bending, crouching, elevated in lifts, for extended duration's.
• Observe all safety requirements, and lead by example in working safely.
• Ability to give and receive constructive feedback for coaching.
• Ability to work various shifts if needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3 years of experience of related industrial troubleshooting, maintenance and repair experience on heavy equipment or in a heavy industrial manufacturing environment.
• Balances team and individual responsibilities. Able to build consensus.
• Works with integrity and ethically; Upholds organizational values.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Valid State Driver’s License

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is frequently required to stand; climb; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
• Ability to work in a non-climate-controlled production facility
• The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 15 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Pay: $20.00 - $35.00 per hour
