· Do you have 2-3 years experience or 1-year experience for our entry-level position?
· Can you diagnose essential software or hardware issues to resolve problems?
· Can you set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software?
· Can you answer user inquiries regarding computer software or hardware operations to resolve problems?
· Do you have a strong customer service orientation?

This position is integral to Sunstar Insurance Group’s goal to provide the highest quality experience possible for our employees. We are looking for a competent help desk technician to provide fast and valuable assistance with computer systems to our employees. You will answer queries on fundamental technical issues and offer advice to solve them.
IT Help Desk Technician responsibilities include:
- Serving as the first point of contact for employees seeking technical assistance over the phone or email
- Performing remote troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and pertinent questions
- Determining the best solution based on the issue and details provided by employees
- Walk the staff through the problem-solving process
- Direct unresolved issues to the next level of support personnel
- Provide accurate information on IT products or services
- Record events and problems and their resolution in logs
- Follow-up and update employee status and information
- Pass on any feedback or suggestions by employees to the appropriate internal team
- Identify and suggest possible improvements to procedures
Requirements
- Proven experience as a help desk technician or other customer support role
- Must also be customer-oriented and patient in dealing with difficult situations
- Tech savvy with working knowledge of office automation products, databases, and remote control
- Must want to be part of a Team
- Ability to diagnose and resolve fundamental technical issues
- Proficiency in English
- Excellent communication skills
- Salary commensurate with experience

Pay: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
