HIRING CASHIERS AND TEAM LEADERS

Provide Superior Customer Service:

· Greet customers with a friendly smile and provide prompt, courteous service.

· Providing fast, friendly, sincere, and immediate service to all customers

· Handle transactions in a fast, accurate manner while operating the cash register and credit card equipment to complete sales

· Execute the 5-step transaction process with each customer – Greeting, Quick Transaction, Suggestive Sell, Correct Change, and Thank You.

· Be knowledgeable at all times about sale items and store promotions.

Store Tasks & Responsibilities:

· Complete specific tasks as assigned by the Store Manager.

· Responsible for accurate inventory control and safeguarding company assets.

· Perform loss prevention activities.

· Follow the laws and guidelines in the sale of alcohol/tobacco products to underage customers.

· Follow store procedures when working with vendors, including checking-in product deliveries, and verifying quantities.

· Complete the daily shift assignments and shift closeout procedures.

· Maintain store cleanliness standards both inside and outside the facility including cleaning display cases, shelves, beverage areas, restrooms, aisles, gasoline pumps, and property grounds.

· Brew coffee and keep the coffee area clean and well stocked.

· Scan or ring up customer total merchandise selection at the register and accept cash or credit card for purchases.

· Other duties or responsibilities as assigned by the Store Manager.

· Must be able to perform basic math at the high school level.

Physical Requirements:

· Must be able to tolerate gasoline fumes and cleaning products.

· Must be able to enter and work in a cooler at the temperature of 30 degrees (or below) for up to 35 minutes at a time.

· Must be able to stretch, reach, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and to stand for a minimum of eight hours at a time.

· Must be able to lift and stock cases of products that can weigh up to 50 pounds.
