SURESTAFF is immediately hiring HMC Operators for a client in Lincolnshire, IL. The HMC Operator is responsible for operating automated and semi-automated production equipment to create and manufacture finished products. SURESTAFF is invested in their team members! All temp to hire employees are offered
negotiable compensation (Min of $18) as well as a benefits package including health insurance (medical, dental, and vision). Generous referral bonuses are available upon hire.
Available shifts include 1st shift [4pm-12: 30am] and part time. Overtime is available on a first come, first serve basis.
Responsibilities of the HMC Operator:

Responsibilities of the HMC Operator:
- At the beginning of each shift, clean shavings and chips from machines
- Prioritize work load per due date of product
- Retrieve documentation from computer for specific job for each machine in the cell
- Read and analyze control chart
- Perform stability study of machines and gauges
- Select tools for each job
- Load (and unload) parts for each machine
- Operate HMC machines
- Measure and check parts against blueprint/drawing
- Pack finished product and bring to secondary operations
- Maintain a clean work environment
- Comply with all safety and sanitation regulations
- Use all Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required and instructed
- Previous experience in production, manufacturing, assembling, and/or machine operating.
- Demonstrated mechanical aptitude is essential.
- Flexibility to work overtime and extra shifts as needed.
- Experience reading and interpreting production specifications a plus.
