Job description

Rogers Cartage Company (dba Tidewater Trucking), in business for over 89 years, is looking for Class A CDL Drivers for home daily work.

We are seeking a Local Home Daily Bulk Tanker Driver to join our team! You will be making bulk cement deliveries to concrete plants in the SW Florida area.

Must have 1 year of Tractor-Trailer experience.

$2,000 Sign-On Bonus thru 31 October 22 ($1,000 @ 90 day and $1,000 @ 180 days)

NO TANKER ENDORSEMENT NEEDED!

Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate a heavy tractor-trailer truck
  • Properly track and document activity log
  • Report any issues or incidents to dispatch
  • Inspect truck before and after trip
  • Haul cement in pneumatic tankers within 300 miles of Ft Myers, FL

Qualifications:

  • At least 1-year previous experience driving tractor trailers
  • Class A CDL
  • Ability to handle physical workload
  • Strong work ethic
  • Saturday Ability to work every 3rd or 4th Saturday

Pay:

  • Drivers can earn up to 28% of the load revenue
  • Extra $50 pay per Saturday
  • Hourly pay for non-revenue moves and work
  • Hourly pay for training and orientation
