As a New York State certified Home Health Aide (HHA) your job is to deliver high-quality personal hands on care with a compassionate touch. Your duties may include: Assistance with bathing * Grooming and dressing * Toileting and incontinence assistance and care * Mobility and assistance with transfers * Companionship and conversation * Light housekeeping * Meal planning and preparation * Medication reminders * Specialized Alzheimer's caregiving

Requirements to be a Home Health Aide (HHA) with Home Instead
To meet our high standards, you must have and/or be willing and able to:

  • Valid New York State Home Health Aide (HHA) or Personal Care Aide (PCA) certificate
  • Treat and care for seniors and their family members with compassion, dignity and respect
  • Medical Requirements include:
  • PPD Result, Chest X-ray report, or a blood test confirming TB immunity status
  • MMR Labs Results
  • Up to date physical-within 12 months
  • COVID-19 Vaccinated
