Office Location: Pollocksville, NC
Coverage Area: Jones, Onslow, Craven, Carteret County
Hours: Every Saturday & Sunday with guaranteed salary for 40 hours

Summary:

The Home Health Nurse, RN is responsible for administering skilled nursing care to patients requiring intermittent professional nursing service.

Registered Nurse (RN) Essential Job Functions:

1. Creates positive experiences for internal and external customers that will meet their expectations. Displays a high degree of courtesy, tact, and knowledge of services provided by the agency in all contact with staff, patients, and visitors.

2. Provides comfort to patient/family to facilitate quality of life and death with dignity.

3. Maintains current electronic documentation and downloads daily: (a) ensures complete documentation on an ongoing basis supporting Hospice guidelines & COPs. (b) assessment information to be entered in McKesson and completed in 48 hours.

4. Ensures that the physician and/or Hospice Medical Director is involved ongoing with the patient's care.

Requirements:

Licensed as a Registered Nurse, in good standing in North Carolina.

Prefer Home Health/Hospice Experience.

Minimum of one year experience in Acute Care Setting preferred.

Current CPR.

Pay: $68,200.00 - $80,028.00 per year
