Mercedes Diaz Homes, Inc.- Direct Support Professional

We are seeking a Direct Support Professional to join our team! You will assist in the daily care of adults with developmental/intellectual disabilities. Here at Mercedes Diaz Homes (MDH) we have been giving back to the community and helping adults with special needs for over 30 years!

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a role model and encourage positive interactions with others.
  • Assist clients with daily living activities.
  • Maintain a healthy and comfortable living environment.

​Qualifications:

  • Past caregiving experience (personal or professional accepted).
  • Valid CA Driver's License.
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
  • Compassionate and caring demeanor.
  • Ability to build rapport with clients.

Hourly range of pay is anywhere between $16.50 - $18.50 depending on experience.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $16.50 - $18.50 per hour
