Halfway is coming to West Hartford center this April and we couldn't be more excited! Located at 37 Lasalle Road, Halfway is the center's newest neighborhood restaurant and bar with a welcoming, energetic vibe featuring classic, casual American fare and drink. We have a little something for everyone with live music on the weekends, arcade games and more! We'll meet our guests Halfway whether they're choosing to dine out as a family, watching a game with old friends, or heading out for live music and late night revelry.

We're looking for hardworking individuals who embrace teamwork and believe in the spirit of hospitality and simple food done right. We're hiring for part-time and full-time FOH and BOH positions and anyone who is excited to become a part of a fun loving restaurant family should apply. We are initially opening 5 days a week and plan to ramp up to 7 days shortly after opening.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

We are hiring a mix of service assistants to ensure that our guests are taken care of and to ensure that dining room, kitchen, and service areas are well-stocked, sparkling clean, and ready to deliver exceptional guest experiences. To succeed in these roles you must have the ability to multitask and work well in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Responsibilities include greeting and seating guests, bussing tables, running food, restocking service areas, washing dishes/utensils, cleaning the kitchen, assisting other service staff, and ultimately performing any tasks necessary to ensure a high-quality guest experience in alignment with Bean Restaurant Group standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Passion for food
• A team player with a hospitality first mentality and a keen willingness to learn
• Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
• Ability to stand, walk and lift heavy items for extended periods of time
• Two years experience preferred, but we will train the right restaurant candidate who shows a willingness to learn in a collaborative environment
