Karya Property Management is looking for a Housekeeper to join the team at our Music City Flats property! This is a 145 unit property. This is a full time position and compensation will range based on experience.
As a Housekeeper, you will be responsible for the overall cleanliness and proper appearance of vacant apartment homes, leasing office, and other amenities to enhance and maintain property appeal.
Responsibilities:
- Clean the leasing office, clubhouse and common-area restrooms, model units, amenities and vacant units daily or as needed
- Perform a variety of cleaning activities such as sweeping, mopping, dusting and polishing
- Ensure all units are cared for and inspected according to policy standards
- Maintain an appropriate inventory of cleaning supplies, and inform supervisor when a re-order is necessary
- Notify supervisor of any damages, deficits, and disturbances
- Perform other duties assigned
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required
- Previous housekeeping experience preferred
- Must have a valid driver's license
- Bilingual is a plus, but not required
- Customer service experience
- Must be flexible and dependable
- Must be a team player
- Advanced knowledge of cleaning products
Physical Requirements / Working Conditions:
- The ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
- Prolonged periods sitting, standing, and walking throughout the workday
- Push, pull, bend, stoop, squat, kneel, climb stairs, and reach above shoulders
- Must be able to work indoors / outdoors or in extreme weather conditions
- Must be able to work weekends and/or evenings on a rotating schedule
