Yates Center Health and Rehab, a 40 bed Long Term community in Yates Center, KS is seeking a Housekeeper and Laundry Aide to help fulfill our mission of Enhancing the Quality of Life of Those We Serve. Basic job duties include: Preparing laundry for washing, washing, drying folding, hanging cloths as appropriate. Identify and deliver cloths to resident rooms, then put cloths away in a neat and orderly fashion. Will be required to help organize and clean closets and dresser draws on a rotating basis or as the needed. Additional duties may include basic cleaning which could include: cleaning restrooms, cleaning hallways and common areas, preparing resident rooms for new admissions, deep cleaning resident rooms after discharge, and other various tasks. Position will be assigned in advance so the individual will know what days they work laundry and what days are for housekeeping.

As our laundry and housekeeping support you must be responsible to meet the needs of our residents in a safe and caring manner. Follows established policies and procedures and uphold the Resident Bill of Rights. Exercises confidentiality to ensure compliance with all HIPAA regulations.

This environmental services position earns a competitive salary starting at $13 per hour. Experience in a geriatric nursing facility is preferred but not required. Are you trustworthy and respectful of others?
