Available shifts: 7am-3:30pm, 2:30pm to 11pm, 10:30pm to 7am (Shift differential offered for 2nd and 3rd shift.) Other incentives may be offered.

$500 bonus is paid if hired by July 5, 2022.

Candidates in this role will be responsible for:

• Cleaning functions in assigned areas following established schedules and using prescribed methods.
• Demonstrates knowledge of cleaning equipment and chemicals necessary to shampoo carpets, buff floors, vacuum carpet, extract carpet.
• Collect trash from utility rooms and other trash collection points and transport to compactor area. Cleans trash cans and reline with plastic bags upon request. Demonstrates proper handling of biohazardous waste.
• Maintains floors, baseboards and carpets. Ensures that they are in good condition by dust mopping, polishing, vacuuming, damp buffing, shampooing and extracting.
• Move furniture and set up meeting rooms.
• Daily checks assigned equipment and have repairs made when needed.
• Practices current infection control, sanitation, hospital safety procedures, including use of safety equipment such as gloves, goggles and safety belts.
• Assist in cleaning of emergency spills that are observed or upon request.
• Observe and report the need for repairs to equipment, furnishings, buildings and fixtures.
• Comprehends and demonstrates the ability to perform all Environmental Services Technician 1 functions.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Must have 6-12 months experience in performing professional housekeeping functions.
