Job description
This is a part-time housekeeping job focused on short-term vacation rentals. Housekeepers will be responsible for maintaining proper cleanliness of the houses and preparing the rooms for the guest stays. Roles include laundry duties, stocking and organizing supplies, handling tools for cleaning, dusting, sweeping, mopping, wiping, and reporting on progress and components that require maintenance.
The job hours are between 11AM and 4PM. Housekeepers will be given an average of 5 hours per cleaning and 3-7 times per week depending on the frequency of bookings.
All housekeeping supplies will be supplied by us.
Must have reliable transportation to commute to job locations and arrive on time. Communication should be available during work hours when working on the job.
Previous housekeeping experience is preferred. However, no experience is required and training will be offered.
Housekeeping Responsibilities Include:
- Cleaning and sanitizing all areas of the home
- Inspect the condition of furniture and household items
- Organizing and sorting supplies into proper areas
- Dusting furnitures and surfaces
- Sweeping and mopping the floors
- Wiping down tables and countertops
- Cleaning kitchen appliances
- Washing and folding bedding linens and towels and treating stains
- Restocking commodities provided within the rental home, such as toilet paper, tissues, and bath soap
- Removing trash from the rooms and emptying garbage cans
- Checking in/out hours of duty
- Reporting broken components for maintenance
- Possible exposure to homes with pet stays

- Attentive to details and follows instructions and guidelines
- Handle cleaning supplies, tools, and laundry
- Work efficiently and using cleaning materials properly
- Cooperative and can work with other team members and having clear communication during work hours
- Punctual with time and is able to self-pace and having good time management
- Fluency in English
