A Cleaning With Meaning Co. is hiring! We are a small business based out of New Haven, CT seeking to hire passionate and attentive housekeepers to perform a variety of cleaning, maintenance and up keeping duties. The housekeeper will be in charge of maintaining all public and private spaces to employer standards. Duties will include vacuuming and carpet washing, mopping and floor washing, small appliance and surface cleaning, decluttering, organizing, deep dusting, bathroom services, appliance replenishment, etc. Attention to detail and a positive attitude a must. The right person is punctual, thorough but fast, and eager to learn.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Dusting and cleaning ceiling vents, surface areas, and counter surfaces
• Performs general sweeping, scrubbing, mopping of hardwood, laminate, or tiled floors
• Using vacuuming equipment; vacuums and cleans carpets, perform further treatments such as shampoo or stain-removal as needed
• Disposing of trash from bins and containers
• Polishing furniture and room accessories as needed
• Scrubbing sinks, basins, and toilets in private and public bathrooms
• Cleaning windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors
• Maintaining and upkeep of all cleaning equipment, supplies, and products
• Ensuring safe and sanitary storage and care of products
• Keeping all public spaces neat and tidy
• Reporting repairs and replacements needed when encountered on the job

Requirements:

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• Clean national background check and driving history
• Authorization to work in the US
• Must have Drivers License and a vehicle thats registered and insured
• Must be willing to travel throughout New Haven County, CT.
• Ability to obtain General Liability Insurance within 60 days of employment
• Must have a connected and functional cell phone
• Must be available to work between 8AM to 6PM Monday-Saturday
• No independent contractors

Job Types: Part-time, Contract

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 4 hour shift
• Day shift
• Evening shift
• Monday to Friday
• Weekend availability
