Summary: Supervise the operations of the housekeeping staff promoting a safe environment and quality service to achieve maximum guest satisfaction, protection of assets and minimal expenses. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned by a supervisor as needed. * Self-starting personality with an even disposition to effectively communicate with guests, team members and community. * Be familiar with and adhere to Legacy Ventures Service standards as outlined in the Blueprint and other policies / rules of conduct, to include personal appearance / grooming, attendance and safe / efficient operations. * Supervise the housekeeping staff; providing open communication, training, coaching and counseling and providing performance feedback to ensure maximum efficiency. * Supervise and inspect the cleaning of the guest rooms, turndown service, public areas and back of the house; ensure compliance with accident/loss prevention programs, health/sanitation standards and regulations to achieve a high level of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. Issue assignments to staff reviewing special requests and areas of concentration to ensure a smooth flow of the housekeeping operation. * Issue supplies/goods to staff at beginning of shift in order to control inventory and ensure proper supplies are available while controlling expenses. * Respond to guest requests, concerns and problems to ensure guest satisfaction. * Implement emergency training and procedures to ensure appropriate protection of the hotel, guests, staff and company assets. * Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis. * Perform any other job related duties as assigned. Computer literacy and financial management a must. Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; or one to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other associates of the organization. Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $13.00 - $14.00 per hour
