JOB SUMMARY/PURPOSE:
Human Resources – Talent Acquisition Support: Individual will provide administrative support for talent advisor (recruiting), coordinating interviews, and onboarding newly hired employees.

JOB DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Supports writing of special offer letters
  • Works with internal resources to identify appropriate relocation benefits for new hires and transfers
  • Works with external relocation vendor to initiate relocation and to track and resolve problems
  • Works with external background vendor to initiate and monitor pre-employment screenings for new hires
  • Using Software programs may initiate new vendors in payment system, initiate One-time payments to new employees/transfers for relocation or signing bonuses
  • Tracks new employee data in spreadsheets or databases for reporting purposes
  • Enters data on new hires into PeopleSoft HRMS database
  • Uses Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint software tools and PeopleSoft database systems and reporting tools
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of applicable processes, laws and regulations
  • Process I-9s and E-Verify
  • Attention to detail and ability to proofread
  • Supports EEI testing, including coordinating, mailing, and administering EEI test
  • Other duties as assigned

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree preferred

Minimum experience required of the position:
At least 1 year of experience in a Talent Acquisition and/or HR position

Desired:
Human Resources experience
Peoplesoft and SuccessFactors experience a plus
Excellent Verbal and Written communication skills strongly desired

Minimum knowledge, skills and abilities required of the position:
Basic knowledge of Personal Computer Presentation and analytical software applications; Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Great understanding of customer satisfaction and teamwork
Familiarity with Entergy pay or billing processes a plus
