HOURLY RATE RANGE: $22.36-$26.62
BASIC FUNCTION & RESPONSIBILITY: Maintain benefits and leave of absence records and provide assistance on employee benefits and related policies and procedures.

Support of Administrative, Fiscal and/or Facilities Functions: Conduct benefit information sessions for new employees. Assist employees with questions regarding benefit programs and provide guidance on the proper completion of associated enrollment forms. Process benefit plan enrollment and change forms through input to the payroll and benefit system, record employee benefit deductions, employee eligibility, and dependent status, Consolidated Omnibus Budget Reconciliation Act (COBRA) enrollment, and reconcile payroll deductions and benefit deductions. Assist with coordination of annual open enrollment process, including making group presentations and preparing, distributing, and receiving materials and forms. Assist with preparation of informational materials for benefit programs, plans and procedures; stay current with industry trends, applicable insurance/retirement laws, rules and regulations, and assist with a variety of special projects. Assist employees with leave of absence questions and related paperwork. Process paperwork, complete required notifications, and maintain leave database. Assist with the processing of fundamental payroll procedures. Assist with processing payroll documents/information for payroll during peak payroll deadlines. Process employment verification forms. Maintain employee payroll/benefit files. Maintain high level of confidentiality. Provide assistance to campuses/departments as requested.
