Position Summary:
Parker Hannifin, Hose Products Division is hiring an HR Leader to be a business partner to the Davenport plant leadership team, to manages the talent acquisition process, foster engagement, and administer human resource programs for the site.
This role reports to an offsite SR HR Manager or Division HR Manager.
This role does not have direct reports.
Salary: Based on experience
Job Responsibilities:
The site HR Leader is part of the site leadership team and works with functional and operational leaders to evaluate workforce needs and initiate job requisitions.
This role leads recruitment efforts including the review resumes, creating candidate pools, and setting up interviews for job openings at the site.
Develops interview guides and manages the selection, hiring and onboarding process.
Creates hourly team member job offers and recommendations for exempt job offers.
Facilitate pre-employment screenings and new hire paperwork.
Partners with functional and operational leaders to complete performance management and talent management review cycle.
Ensures consistent application of practices and policies across the site.
Develops and administers local site specific and corporate required training.
Works with managers to identify best utilization of corporate sponsored training.
Ensure managers and employees complete development plans and performance appraisals in required timeframe.
Address complex and varied questions and concerns by managers and team members.
Responsible for coordinating and managing team member grievances and disciplinary process
Administer the annual merit process.
Address questions on compensation and benefits.
Conduct monthly reporting and analytics.
The position may have direct reports and responsibility for directing their activities.
Other tasks and requirements may be assigned as necessary.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management, Business, or related fields required.
Minimum of 5 years HR Generalist experience
Prefer HR experience in a manufacturing environment.
Experience with HR Information Systems and Talent Management Systems preferred.
Qualified candidates must be action oriented, organized, and able to prioritize important projects and tasks.
