We are currently hiring a Human Resources Administrative Assistant for our locations in the Boston Logan International Airport.

Summary/Objective
The Human Resources Generalist/Recruiter will assist with labor relations and human resources matters, gathering, collecting, and maintaining documents and records required for contract and policy development, investigations, and negotiations. This role provides administrative support to the human resource function as needed, including record-keeping, file maintenance and HRIS entry.
Essential Functions
- Handles routine labor relations and human resource inquiries related to policies, procedures, and bargaining agreements; refers complex matters to appropriate management staff.
- Serves as the initial contact and liaison for intake and assessment of employee complaints.
- Conducts initial interviews and gathers information for employee relations matters such as harassment allegations, work complaints, or other concerns; consults with Human Resource Director to finalize resolution.
- Administers paperwork associated with recordkeeping related to hiring, discipline, performance, termination, leave, transfer, and promotion.
- Prepares and distributes reports required by Collective Bargaining Agreement.
- Participates in meetings that require a local human resource representative to be present; reports results to Human Resources Director.
- Conducts surveys, interviews, and other research related to human resource policies, compensation, and other labor negotiations; collects information and reports results to Human Resources Director.
- Assists with preparation of documents and records required for contract negotiations, meetings, and negotiations with employee and labor organizations.
- Maintains knowledge and understanding of laws and regulations related to EEO, affirmative action, collective bargaining, unions, labor relations, and human resources.
- Assists with recruitment and interview process.
- Makes photocopies; mails, scans and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions.
- Files documents into appropriate employee files.

Required Education and Experience
- At least three years of professional human resource administration required with experience in employee relations within a union environment required.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
- Must be eligible for and maintain SIDA badge required to work in airport.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older
