Position Overview:
The Human Resources (HR) Administrative Assistant position is responsible for Human Resources reporting, answering incoming calls and directing callers to appropriate personnel. The intent is to provide support to all managers and teams within Irwin Seating Company with a concentration on Human Resources. To be successful in this role it is key to be able to understand the needs of the HR department and respond to those needs with minimal supervision and the willingness to learn new things and grow.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
-Sets up monthly business meetings and prepares the Power Point presentation material.
-Prepare and Run monthly reporting.
-Runs batch plot program to print production packets for manufacturing and the installer.
-Research and gather information to create monthly company newsletter.
-Answers incoming telephone calls and determines the purpose of callers, and forwards calls to appropriate personnel or department. If individual is unavailable takes and delivers messages or transfers calls to appropriate voice mail. Retrieves messages from general voicemail boxes and forwards to appropriate personnel.
-Answers questions about organization and provides callers with address, directions and other information.
-Welcomes on-site visitors, determines nature of business, and announces visitors to appropriate personnel. Monitors this visitor access and issues visitor passes when required.
-Assist in planning company events.
-Performs other clerical duties as needed, such as filing, photocopying, collating, archiving files.
Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three years of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
