Job Overview:
Human resources specialists recruit, screen and interview job applicants and place newly hired workers in jobs. They also handle training, and employee relations.
Responsibilities/essential functions:
The person in this position must be able to perform the following essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
- Maintaining employee files for up to 7 years
- Submitting employee training documents to CD
- Ensuring employee compliance with training throughout employment
- Maintaining onboarding
- Provide support during audits as necessary and completion of audit tasks as requested
- Reviewing resumes and reaching out to potential candidates
- Interviewing candidates
- Employee recognition and "spotlighting"
- Orientation set up and first day. Go over HR documents
- Check-ins with training staff. Are they a good fit?
- Making employee badges
- Slack management
- Giving out training surveys following training (immediately, as well as two-week check in)
- Giving out training surveys to supervisors regarding new technician competency
- OASIS set-up
- Offboarding
- Attending weekly/bi-weekly meetings regarding status
- Schedules and coordinates monthly make up sessions
- Tracking call-offs, PTO, gathering data, and checking trends regarding call-offs of clients and technicians. Notifies client supervisors when client is reaching below 75% authorization
- Calling staff to fill-in for prioritized cases
- Assists with answering phone calls with proper phone etiquette
- Monitoring staff availability to review and adjust schedules to maximize billable time
- Coordinating start dates/collaborates with Behavior Analysis Teams to plan for transitioning clients
- Managing timesheets and Paylocity
- Assists with onsite operational support. Provide in center coverage as needed
- Attend career fairs as needed
- Assisting with coordinating employee engagement including: staff meetings, team building events/celebrations, community engagement/outreach, and welcome/first date activities for new team members
