Human Resources Assistant (230135)

Position Summary –

Provides administrative and clerical support to Human Resources Operations team in day-to-day activities. Duties may vary daily dependent on the needs of business operations.


Essential Tasks and Duties- (Other duties may be assigned):

  • General administrative and clerical support for the site

  • Assist with onboarding of new hire class

  • Assist with employee recognition program

  • Employee communication - including, but not limited to, general questions, providing materials

  • Community activities support

  • Answer, greet and check in visitors at the front door

  • Maintains confidential personnel and personnel actions

  • Assist the HR department with HR related projects


Skills needed:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills

  • Ability to communicate efficiently both verbally and in written form

  • Ability to work efficiently in a high demand fast paced environment

  • Ability to prioritize and manage time efficiently

  • Ability to work individually as well as in group environment


Requirements:

  • CONFIDENTIALITY is a must.

  • 2 to 4 year college degree preferred, HS diploma required

  • General knowledge of employment laws/processes preferred

  • 1-2 years administrative experience

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Strong knowledge of MS office suite of applications and aptitude to learn new applications quickly

  • Overall strong computer skills

  • Excellent customer service skills
