The Human Resources Department is looking for a part time entry-level administrative assistant. The candidate will report directly to the Human Resources Director.
Summary
Provide administrative, recruitment, and technical assistance for the Human Resources Department in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.
- Maintain HR processes and update accurately all employee records
- Act as a technical resource for the office of human resources to address and resolve inquiries and problems relating to the human resources function.
- Confers with management and supervisors to identify personnel needs, job specifications, job duties, qualifications, and skills.
- Writes job descriptions or reviews and edits job descriptions written by others.
- Develops recruitment programs, and collateral to attract applicants and to fill specific job openings.
- Develops and maintains a network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates.
- Reviews applications and interviews applicants to obtain work history, education, training, job skills, and salary requirements, and to provide information about the organization and position.
- Screens and refers candidates for additional interviews with others in the organization.
- Utilizes Internet online recruiting sources to identify and recruit candidates.
- Performs reference and background checks on applicants.
- Coordinates communications with applicants and Department Managers.
Required/Strongly Preferred Experience and Skills:
· Minimum of 2 years of functional HR Recruiting experience.
· Strong employee relations skills
· Experience with ADP is strongly preferred.
· Experience with Indeed is preferred.
