Job Overview

The objective of the Human Resources Clerk is to support human resources processes by assisting with recruitment, scheduling appointments, conducting orientation, and assisting Human Resources Manager with Labor Relations. This position maintains employee confidence, protects operations by keeping human resource information confidential, and maintains quality by following organization standards.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Lead the charge for ensuring all employees, customers, and visitors understand the importance of 100% safety compliance and maintaining an injury free workplace
  • Work closely with HR Manager and HR Coordinator to provide support as needed on highly confidential human resources matters and special projects
  • Welcome new hires by assisting with orientation
  • Provide clerical and administrative support
  • Participate in all Company led training initiatives
  • Assist with day to day employee operations of HR functions and duties
  • Ensure employee files (with accurate documentation of discipline, offer letters, termination letters, Employee Change Forms, new hire paperwork, vacation requests, etc.) are accurate and maintained
  • Assist with payroll administration
  • Assist with hourly recruitment efforts

Qualifications and Education Requirements

  • 2 Years of Experience in HR
  • Exposure to Payroll Practices
  • Effective HR Administration and People Management Skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $35,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
