As the HR Coordinator you will play an integral role in fulfilling our purpose to care for those we work with and work for. You will aid with and facilitate the human resource processes at all business locations and across all divisions. You will assist in benefit administration, work to resolve employee benefit inquiries, and provide administrative support to the human resource department, including record-keeping, file maintenance, and HRIS entry.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work closely with Operations team to coordinate all new hires and ensure set up in HRIS is completed in a timely manner by diligently monitoring the pre-hire process.
- Perform HRIS functions including but not limited to: adding and terminating employees, sending new hire checklists, reporting, supervisor updates, etc.
- Provide notification of benefit eligibility and assist with health and welfare plans, including enrollments, changes, and terminations.
- Assign user access in HRIS.
- Run benefits reporting on a weekly basis; send notifications of eligibility; terminate coverage for ineligible employees and generates COBRA notices.
- Run weekly exclusion report and upload to Provider Trust site.
- Assist with benefit invoice reconciliations.
- Maintain monthly UC Executive Summary report.
- Perform employment verifications.
- Makes photocopies, mail, scan, email documents and perform other clerical duties.
- Maintain electronic employee files.
- Ensures compliance with employment eligibility through management of I-9 and E-Verify process.
- Send pre-adverse and adverse action letters.
- Answer internal and external requests in a timely manner.
- Demonstrate dedication to ongoing learning and development.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or related.
- Experience working as an HR Assistant or equivalent preferred.
- Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.
- Prior experience with HRIS preferred.
