Position Title: Human Resources Generalist I

Department: Human Resources & Accounting

When You Will Work: Monday through Friday full-time position

Who You Will Report To: Human Resources

The Recruitment Administrator position is responsible for performing a variety of clerical and administrative tasks for the Human Resources & Accounting Departments. The position requires processing a high volume of documents and requests in a timely manner. The position requires attention to detail, accuracy, and flexibility. Ultimately, a successful candidate will ensure that the department’s administrative functions are processed accurately and effectively to support the business operations.

What You Will Do:

Human Resources

  • Conduct intake meetings with hiring manager
  • Create job descriptions for new positions
  • Create, enter and maintain job postings
  • Assist with creating and maintaining social media marketing campaigns
  • Review applications and conduct phone screens to determine qualifications
  • Schedule interviews with hiring manger and ensure a positive candidate experience
  • Coordinate orientation and training sessions for new employees
  • Updating HR company databases
  • Collect and report companywide training hours
  • Maintain electronic bulletin board announcements
  • Assist with smooth communication with employees and timely resolution to their queries
  • Coordinate HR projects, meetings and training seminars
  • Prepare reports and presentations for internal communications


Accounts Receivable

  • Send W-9's to all customers
  • Process credit applications, pull credit safe, send reference inquiries and track responses.
  • Email statements & invoices to customers upon request
  • Take miscellaneous deposits to bank


Accounts Payable

  • Scan incoming vendor invoices into appropriate digital files.
  • Maintain scanned invoices in appropriate folders on shared drive according to stage in payment process
  • Solicit, track and log W-9’s received from vendors
  • Take miscellaneous items to post office


General Administrative

  • Paper file storage organization
  • AP/AR shared drive file organization
  • Pickup, sort and distribute mail
  • Document and template creation


Requ
irements and skills needed for the success at this position:

  • Must possess work experience in Human Resources
  • Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the recruitment and employment function
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite – emphasis in Excel
  • Attention to detail, prioritization skill and time management
  • Able to complete a complex administrative task with little supervision
  • Data driven mindset with a high degree of accuracy and completeness
  • Discreetness with confidential information
  • Commitment to team environment
  • Ability to successfully accomplish multiple tasks simultaneously


Physical Requirements:

  • Must be able to sit and or stand
  • Requires working at a desk, consistent phone use and data entry
