Overview:
  • As a Human Resources Service Center Generalist, you’ll be responsible for addressing general Human Resources inquiries in the HR Service Center. This position provides guidance, answers and first-time resolution ensuring compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements and engaging key stakeholders as required. Lastly, the generalist contributes to a positive associate experience by providing an excellent customer experience.
Responsibilities:
  • Service - Responds to general HR inquiries while ensuring compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Assists in HR Service Center activities such as progress monitoring, accuracy of data, and ensuring the timely resolution of service cases. Escalates cases to appropriate parties as necessary.
  • Operational Support - Responsible for all phases of the new hire on-boarding process. Assists in vendor management and applicant tracking system processes.
  • Policy Knowledge - Utilizes knowledge of applicable regulations, laws, and other factors affecting the Bank's workforce to offer guidance and education on HR policies. Acts as a resource to associates and managers on the appropriate resolution of HR matters.
  • Program Support - Executes HR programs and projects. Ensures successful completion of all initiatives undertaken.

Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications
      • Bachelor's Degree and 0 years of experience in Call Center and Human Resources.OR
High School Diploma or GED and 4 years of experience in Call Center and Human Resources.

Additional Requirements:
      • Knowledge of Human Resources policies, procedures, and benefits.
      • Knowledge of Human Resources and labor laws.
      • Customer service skills.
      • Communication skills – verbal.
      • Communication skills – written.
      • Problem solving.

Preferred Qualifications:
      • First Citizens Bank HR experience.
      • Customer Service experience.
