ID Checkers

BBC is a large National Special Event Beverage Catering & Concession Company based in California. Founded in San Francisco in 1991, we have since expanded to offices across the United States. We are seeking experienced Bartenders and Bar Backs in the Bay Area who are energetic, passionate about their abilities to join our team.

Our venues are searching for experienced ID Checkers who are familiar with the process of checking government issued forms of identification and wristbanding those over the age of 21. The ID Checkers will be responsible for serving patrons in assorted areas in the Bay Area, wristbanding the attendees of all events, and confiscating any fraudulent ID's.

Requirements:

• Deliver a consistently high level of customer service to each guest
• Commit to at least 4-6 events per month (subject to availability)
• Move efficiently through patrons while thoroughly and accurately checking their government issued identification
• Ability to identify fake/fraudulent identifications from various states
• Check identification of customers to verify they are of legal drinking age
• Adhere to all ABC guidelines and regulations regarding checking identification, safe serving practices & local laws.
• Work both private and concession events
• Travel to different locations around the Bay Area

Personal Requirements:

• Able to lift up to 30 lbs.
• Walk and stand for up to 8 hours a day
• Over 21 years of age
• Most have a valid RBS (new in 2022+), LEADS or TIPS certification temporarily accepted
• Reliable transportation to venues
