JOBNow Hiring Inclusion Assistants! Tualatin Hills Parks & Recreation District (THPRD) is seeking compassionate, and kind staff who want to make a difference in their community. Inclusion Assistants provide one-on-one assistance to participants of all ages with physical, developmental, or emotional disabilities as they integrate into THPRD programs. ** Employees receive free drop-in access to all THPRD recreation facilities for their household. Be sure to check out the "Benefits" tab to see what the district offers you! ** Primary job duties include: Adapting activities for participantsFollowing inclusion or behavior plansMaintaining a safe environment for all participantsPromoting participant success in a programPrograms take place each week at various THPRD sites around the District. Learn more about Inclusion Services at THPRD here. We are hiring for year-round positions. Weekly hours and assignment schedules can change and are dependent on programming needs. Part-time employees are scheduled 2-29 variable hours and may work less than 1,560 hours per year. Inclusion assistants work indoors and/or outdoors on uneven surfaces, and in various environmental conditions each week. Employees should be prepared to demonstrate standards in line with current guidelines and requirements for keeping all staff and participants safe with Covid-19 in mind.
