Our Electrician II will work from heights of 60' in the bucket maintaining highway overhead lights and roadway signage illumination components in Orange, Seminole, and Lake County, FL. Position pay starts at $18.00 per hour. Must have 3+ years of Residential or Commercial electrical experience to be considered.

YOUR ROLE

• Measures, cuts, bends, threads, etc. and install wire and electrical cable systems, conduit systems and other wire raceway systems
• Drills holes for wiring and pulls or pushes wiring through opening
• Traces out short circuits in wiring
• Assists in lifting, positioning and fastening objects such as wiring, conduit and motors
• Performs minor repairs such as replacing fuses, ballast, bulbs and breakers
• Disassembles defective electrical equipment, replaces defective or worn parts and reassembles equipment
• Work from elevated heights of 60' (about 4 stories tall) about 90% of the time
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, electrical code specifications, one-line diagrams and schematic
• Responds to accidents with lane closures and cone placement (similar to flagging) aka MOT (Maintenance of Traffic) or temporary traffic control
• Work on-call, one week per month

WHAT YOU BRING

• Valid and Current Florida Driver's License
• Ability to work along highways with traffic passing by at varying rates of speed
• Ability to work from elevated heights of 60' (about 4 stories tall) to repair highway lighting about 90% of the time
• 3+ years of Residential or Commercial electrical experience
• Ability to work with 277/480 volts
• Adhere to on-call rotation schedule
• Must drive to office in Ocoee/Winter Garden (zip code 34761) each day for work
