Your Responsibilities as a Industrial Hygiene Consultant:

  • Support a variety of Industrial Hygiene related projects.
  • Field-related duties may include:
    • Asbestos surveys
    • Asbestos sampling
    • Moisture mapping
    • Visible suspect biological growth assessments
    • Lead surveys
    • Lead sampling
    • Asbestos abatement oversight
    • Air monitoring
    • Mold sampling and clearance protocols
    • Mold assessments
    • Industrial hygiene assessments
  • Gather, analyze, and interpret data.
  • Write technical reports and proposals.
  • Actively develop your own career growth.

What we're looking for:

  • BS/BA in Environmental Science, Geology, or other related field.
  • 1-4 years of experience in actual field work relating to industrial hygiene services. Specialty in asbestos, lead, and mold.
  • Current asbestos and/or lead-based paint certifications held with the State of Illinois
  • Asbestos Air Monitoring Specialist certification preferred.
  • Must meet qualifications to successfully be processed for ID badge through Government Agencies.
  • Strong technical writing skills, the ability to successfully multi-task, safety awareness, and a good record and understanding of safe work practices.
  • 40-hour HAZWOPER certification is a plus.
  • Light construction experience/hands-on skills a plus.
  • Experience with data management and report preparation.
  • A valid driver's license and personal vehicle are required.
  • Strong communication skills-Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
