Job description

We are looking for a Maintenance Technician Assistant to join our team. The maintenance technician assistant is responsible for the upkeep of buildings and mechanical systems. Pay will depend on experience. This position requires the flexibility to work OT or early schedule.

We’d like you to have stamina and the ability to lift heavy loads. You should be able to concentrate on performing your tasks and commit to safety rules. If you fit this description, and you’re also interested in doing tough but important work, we’d like to meet you.

Job Requirements

• Electrical background (preferred)
• Assist in welding for small repairs
• Assist in assembly and disassembly of electric motors
• Assist in basic pipe fitting small diameters
• Knowledge of hydraulics preferred
• Bearing experience preferred
• Assist in air compressor maintenance
• Assist with Forklift maintenance
• Must be Mechanically Inclined
• Manufacturing background a plus
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements and skills

• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job (standing for long periods of time, lifting heavy loads of up to 50 pounds etc.)
• Good hand-eye coordination
• Metal manufacturing a plus
• Familiarity with power tools and machinery is needed
• Communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to safety rules

Shift -4:00 am -12:30 pm

Pay is $20.00-21.00

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $21.00 per hour
