Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement infection prevention and control policies and procedures
- Monitor healthcare-associated infections and outbreaks
- Conduct risk assessments and provide recommendations to prevent and control infections
- Ensure compliance with all infection prevention and control regulations and guidelines
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to develop and implement best practices for infection prevention and control
- Develop and deliver infection prevention and control education and training programs for staff and patients
- Serve as a resource to healthcare providers on infection prevention and control issues
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives related to infection prevention and control
Qualifications:
- Active RN license
- Certification in infection prevention and control
- At least 2 years of experience in infection prevention and control
- Knowledge of infection prevention and control regulations and guidelines
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
