The Junior Information Security Analyst will assist the Global Security team with day-to-day Information Security Operations (SecOps), including but not limited to, monitoring networks for security weaknesses and abuse, reviewing and remediating vulnerability findings, installing and managing security patches and software, ongoing security projects in the organization, and any other SecOps tasks as assigned.

An ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree, a CompTIA Security+ certification at minimum, and a minimum of 5 years in the IT field, with one of those years being in Information Security. Proficiency and knowledge with all Windows and Unix OS’s will be a requirement to enable the Jr. IS Analyst to properly discover, plan, remediate, and close vulnerabilities in the various OSs in the network. Excellent oral and written communication skills will be a requirement to ensure proper communication channels and documentation is always kept. French Language Knowledge is a plus.

Finally, the candidate will have moderate understanding of network and firewall topologies and operation, endpoint security principles and best practices, IDS and IPS concepts and methodologies, and incident management and response.

• Monitor the international network for security weaknesses, abuse, fraud, and exploitation
• Discover and respond to immediate threats as they occur

• Participate in the design, analysis, and implementation of efficient security systems and software
• Assist with the evaluation and testing of new security technologies
• Gather feedback from clients to adjust and improve deployed security mechanisms

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor’s Degree, CompTIA Security+, 2+ years in IT field
