Information Technology Network Specialist to join our team!

Our operations in Conway, Arkansas include metal stamping, forming, painting, and assembly. The facility utilizes stamping presses, brake presses, roll forms, lasers, shears, and a multi-stage paint process. A concept of a finished products company providing parts and sub-assemblies to customers. Approximately 100,000 square feet of floor space and 50 acres are utilized for fabrication operations. An additional 350,000 square feet is available for future business growth.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITY:
- Support Information Technology Network Environment.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Primary contact for support, maintenance of all network computer hardware and all communication equipment, computers, servers and users.
- After hours IT helpdesk contact (50%).
- Evaluate/recommend new technology.
- Support, maintain and upgrade all network computer software (i.e. Windows Operating system, all network-based computer software and all other personal computer based software.).
- Perform installation on all network computer hardware and software purchases including software licenses.
- Maintain network standards and policies.
- Maintain network disaster recovery procedures.
- Maintain inventory of all computer hardware and software.
- Train users on the use of all network hardware and software.
- Maximize the use of all network computer hardware and software.
- Maximize the efficiency and effectiveness of all network computer hardware and software.
- Maintain network security procedures, policies and solutions including firewall, anti-virus, VPN, intrusion detection systems etc.
- Establish, administer and maintain end-user accounts, permissions and access rights.
- Monitor and test network performance and provide network performance statistics and reports.
- Perform server backup and recovery and ensure network connectivity of all peripherals.
EDUCATION REQUIRED:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science. Certification in Microsoft Products (MCSE) preferred.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- Minimum 3-4 years related experience with a minimum of 2 years support experience.
- Experience working with client/server network computer environments (hardware and software).
