Judson Senior Living in Cleveland, Ohio is seeking an Information Technology Systems Analyst. Currently hiring for a Full Time position with our Judson Park retirement community located in historic Cleveland Heights.

What will I do in this role with Judson?

As an Information Technology Systems Analyst, supporting the Judson mission will include the following responsibilities:

  • Design, program, test, implement, install, and/or configure hardware, software, and other IT systems to meet operational requirements.
  • Apply updates and patches to IT systems.
  • Monitor systems for irregularities, availability, errors, resource usage, and system loads.
  • Manage system components such as DNS (Domain Name Service) to deliver information to users via the internet and intranet.
  • Establish and maintain user accounts and passwords for all electronic systems.
  • Train and guide end-users in the efficient use of electronic services, and related components; provide specialized technical support and assistance; identify, troubleshoot, and resolve technical issues.
  • Support advances in electronic communication services; repair, recover and resolve hardware and software failures for impacted users.
  • May develop and maintain documentation of system standards and installation and configuration procedures.
  • Manage and maintain file systems including security, permissions, archiving, and related tasks.
  • Serve as lead worker for various projects and tasks within the department, as directed.
  • Assess need for information technology equipment, make purchase recommendations, and purchase equipment as authorized.
  • Maintain updated knowledge related to new technologies, assess applicability for technical operations and make recommendations accordingly.
  • Monitor and audit work requests; identify need for remedial actions.
  • Serve on an on call basis; troubleshoot and resolve system problems, and when necessary, work evenings and weekends, sometimes with little or no advanced notice.
  • Serve as Network HIPAA Security Officer. In this role, manage and oversee information security of Protected Health Information, audit & monitor information security practices and technologies on a regular basis and report findings to the Compliance Officer. Keep informed of changes and developments within local, state, and federal information security regulations.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

What do I need for this role with Judson?

  • Bachelor's Degree with a technical major, such as Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related field required.
  • Relevant certifications such as A+, MCSA/MCSE or related, OR equivalent experience required.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of information technology support functions: Microsoft Operating Systems, Microsoft Office Suite, networking, telecommunications, enterprise level application and software required.
  • Ability to strongly maintain confidentiality.
  • Background in systems support and systems administration or closely related experience required.
  • Demonstrated written and oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel and/or residents both orally and in writing required.
  • Basic knowledge of cable systems required.
  • Demonstrated problem solving and troubleshooting skills required.
