REGISTERED NURSE: INFUSION

13 WEEK CONTRACT

Shift timing: Day Shift - (07:30 AM - 04:00 PM) / (8.00AM - 4.30PM)

Job Title -REGISTERED NURSE- RN- INFUSION

Responsibilities for RN-Infusion

• Timely collaborates with the healthcare team to report critical information or change in
• Variety of infusions and accessing the patient for bloods / chemo via peripheral lines
• Providing monitoring and continued assessment throughout the infusion period
• Accessing port-a-caths, starting IVs and handing antiemetics
• Be guided by the knowledge of base principles of nursing on the spiritual needs, and on physical/psychosocial sciences
• Ensures that the quality of patient care meets all accrediting, bioethical, and professional standards
• Perform ongoing assessment of patients and patient care area
• Be responsible for providing direct patient care in the Infusion and Chemo center facilitating patient care flow
• Performs phlebotomy and laboratory on-site testing
• Implements quality control programs by reviewing and logging all quality controls and acting appropriately when results read out of control limits

Education:

• Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

Requirements:

• BSN required.
• RN experience required.
• Massachusetts Registered Nurse Licensure required.
