Since first established in 1999, KING KONG PRODUCTION VEHICLES (KKPV) has led the luxury trailer rental industry in building user-friendly location trailers for celebrities and on-screen talent, as well as transportation and production personnel. KKPV supplies the biggest Production Trailers, Star Trailers, Photo Motorhomes, and other motorhomes/trailers for feature movie, television, commercial, and photography shoots.
#setlife is our sister company and was launched in 2016 to provide production supplies, walkie-talkies, and trucks, primarily to our existing KKPV client base. Our companies are separate entities but work together to create an easy one-stop-shop for our clients to equip an on-location or on-set shoot.
During the nationwide shutdown due to the coronavirus pandemic, KING KONG PRODUCTION VEHICLES Inc. and SET LIFE Inc. have been at the forefront of PPE innovation developing on-set sanitation equipment specific to the film and transportation industry.
As the entertainment industry rebounds from the impact of the pandemic, we’re seeing a lot of sudden and significant growth in our market. This is creating many exciting opportunities, and we are now looking to expand our team to continue servicing our growing client base. KKPV currently has 15 full-time and 30 part-time team members. With the growth trajectory we’re experiencing, we anticipated adding between five to seven new team members by the end of 2021, which should also create opportunities for promotion inside our team.

OVERVIEW OF POSITION
Our company is looking for an experienced Sales Assistant to assist in managing our day-to-day sales and back-office requirements. Excellent organizational skills, accuracy, accountability, and the ability to maintain confidentiality are important qualifications for this position, as well as great customer relations and the ability to communicate truthfully and clearly. The ideal candidate is a reliable and skilled multi-tasker who is committed to consistently meeting deadlines. We are looking for a candidate who will not only complete their responsibilities but shows the creativity and initiative to improve upon current administration and sales/customer service systems. Hey, just because “we’ve always done it that way” doesn’t mean it’s the best way! You will be reporting to and have extensive interaction with our CEO and sales manager, a 25-year industry veteran, so your suggestions will be heard and you’ll have an excellent mentor!
Below are your main duties:
- Work with clients to make sure agreements and paperwork are sent and received.
- Cold-calling 20-30 calls per day with call reports summary.
- Carry out administrative duties .
- Customer relationship management.
You will be successful in this position if you have/are;
- Experience with administrative duties(3-5 years experience)
- Experience dealing with clients – on phone, on email, etc. Need to represent the company well and help sell/make happy
- Computer savvy.
- fast learner, independent worker, growth mindset, consistency, organized and detail oriented)
- Ability to deal with direct, terse communications
- Adaptable, energetic, hungry to learn, solutions-oriented
